Car damaged in repair shop
Options
I put my car in for mot. It failed on brakes and I left it with them to fix. Got a call today saying that when moving the car it was crashed into the wall because brakes failed. I drove it there ok. The garage has said it will replace headlight but want me to source and supply a whole bumper and they would pay me the cost , who's at fault here ? The mot has now run out car has not been fixed really don't know what to do would be grateful fo advice .

If its a garage, why are they asking you to source a bumper? Isn't that part of their job? They are clearly at fault there, knowing your brakes were dodgy and not taking appropriate care whilst it was on their premises.
A woman at my workplace took her car in for an mot. It only needed a service and 4 tyres, now she's got it back with the car keep cutting out on the road. Clocking up £900+ to try and put it right with no owner of blame. She has money to burn, for garages to wreck her car and not accept responsibility. I wouldn't think you do.
I would enquire your legal rights with CAB or a consumer outlet.
If you don't get any joy with them, put the company RESOLVER into Google. They might be able to help.
