Broken recliner settee - is it possible to fix?

Hi!
I have a recliner settee in which one of the bearings appears to have broken. It is now tilted slightly to one side and makes alarming crunching noises when you sit on or move in the seat.
The bearing appears to be fixed into the mechanism.
The settee is two years old and I was told there is only a year guarantee with it.
Can this be fixed or am i looking at a new settee?
Thanks
Kevin

Anything which has been built can be fixed, however I would also press the retailer. Two years is not a long time for such failure.
The reclining mechanism cable on our then two year old recliner failed last year. Called the retailer, part sent, engineer arrived and fitted a new one, no charge.0
