HI-I am searching for 2 bargains-my Mother in Law wants to go to London, midweek for the day and My m8 and I to the good food show in B'ham at end of Nov. Last Nov, when I had booked my GFS tickets, and seperate train fare, I saw an offer somewhere (useful I know! ) where train ticket INC GFS ticket was about the same price of just the GFS ticket!

Wellingborough to London can be done for £7 each way if you book in advance. Standard on the day fare is £31.90 - or £32 for a travelcard including all tube travel when you get to London

If you can't get the cheap fares, rebook at Bedford. £6.90 cheap day return to Bedford then £20 one day travelcard. Your train each way must stop at Bedford.

Northampton to Birmingham International is £10.30 cheap day return - no advance booking needed

There will be peak hour restrictions on all the above fares.
