on top of that, the girls both need a tutor for Japanese, their mother tongue, they are literate in both languages, but need to really work to keep it up.

Could you save money by talking Japanese at home? Or having an 'only Japanese hour' or something?

I'd love to learn the language, Japan is on my list of 'Places I want to visit one day' along with New York, Mongolia, Muich beer festival, and the Tomato festival in Spain.

I went shopping today and spent... um..... £69.50 (well actually £79.50 but £10 of the budget was a pb voucher)...

Can I say in my defence I wore out 2 pairs of jeans this week ( :o  :rotfl: ) to the point where they have holes in unmentionable places :rotfl: and [strike]desperately needed [/strike] wanted a pair of comfy shoes.

I managed to get 2 prs jeans, 2 t-shirts and 2 pairs of shoes for this (inc a £37 pair of my fave hush puppies which are normally £45) and I do have a budget for clothing and shoes although there is not much left of it now... :o.... I'm off to hide in a corner somewhere...

PS I didn't spend any of this weeks spends money :rotfl: :rotfl:

... ok i'm going now....
