  • Bought the Sunday papers - cost £2, although got a free Rebus DVD with the NOTW (only reason for buying it so in that sense it wasn't free), met a pal for a coffee, and now home for the day.

So, £4.15 spent on a Sunday which isn't great, but I won £6 betting on the Scotland rugby last night with a free bet so in that sense, I'm up!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
  • Was going to be a NSD day for me as I don't plan on getting out my PJ's all day, but then went and spent 79p on an itunes song!!!

The rest of the day will be zero spending as going to be watching my 3 rental dvd's, which I paid zero for I must add :-)

  • Hi all - planning a lazy day here - have some friends popping round for a cuppa later and going for a walk, so hopefully a NSD. Need to do grocery shopping but that's budgeted for and am about to make my list for that.

Have lovely days and hope all those feeling poorly feel better soon x
  • NSD hopefully, managed it yesterday, although reading this post has just remined me that it's my dads birthday tomorrow so might have to pop out and grab him something!

    Have a good day people!
  • NSD for me so far, thou I have spent all morning in work! Not planning on spending anything today. People in work were all talking about getting Subways, but I resisted.

I'm just relaxing infront of the TV now, watching this mornings Ninja turtles episode I had to tape while I was working, then I'm off to play poker tonight.

Not a brilliant day penny wise! My parents are here from OZ, so we went out for lunch at the local National Trust place. I volunteer there and get discounts.....when I get the card and that has yet to come....but it is such a lovely place and the money is for a good cause?
Bought DD a mobile phone this morning. Let her have one she wanted, pay as you go and she has to pay, as this is her very early birthday present. She needs it as she has to get home alone now.
I start work tomorrow and so forked out 126 pounds for after school care for the youngest. I have no idea if work has vouchers, so will find out....on top of that, the girls both need a tutor for Japanese, their mother tongue, they are literate in both languages, but need to really work to keep it up. All that money I had hoped to pile on the mortgage...but that is the way for a working mum.
Still. I got a small translation done this morning....that helps a bit. The pay is good.
On the whole. A lot went out, but the family is here, happy and well, and what more can one ask for?

The thing I have yet to do is sort out the piggy clicks.....Tuedsay is my next day off....will do it then!

Managed to keep the spending low, the only money I spent was on a gift for the old man's birthday tomorrow - though i'd ask him what he actually wanted and I managed to get it for £13, which for me was better than the usual £30 or so that I usually spend buying stuff he probably isn't even that bothered about - good day for me :D
