Hello all, The old boiler in my new property needs replacing. The existing system is an old warm air type. I've had a couple of quotes, it seems that a new combi system will cost about the same as a new warm air boiler, with hot water cylinder replaced. If anyone is interested, I've gone for an Aquaair system by Johnson and Starley, its basically a combi boiler linked to a warm air unit. By far the cheapest option to install at £4,350. As a landlord you just have to get the combi serviced by any regular boiler engineer. Apparently its a good, economical solution for those looking to continue to use and upgrade their warm air systems.
