WTC+PIP reduced hours@work

As I approach dropping to 3 day week from fulll time 5 days.

I haven't had until today enough time to consider what this change may mean in benefits terms (if at all)

As I get pip dailyliving+lower mobility

And working tax credits

Does reduced hours at work affect any of my benefites at all?

If it does what changes are likely to happen?

It's the hours that are relevant rather than the days. How many hours did you work and how many will you work?

PIP won't be affected by WTC might be.

I think ive been 37.5 hours Mon-Fri

IF you take 2 days away, whats my new hours and what changes to wtc.

A 3 day week would presumably bring you to 21 hours. You should still be able to continue to claim WTC because of the disability element of WTC.

Thanks all for your asstance.

Run one of the mentioned calcuators, possible increase WTC.

Do I have to call dwp to advise of my reduced hours or wait until July when I complete 2017/18 wtc online?

You need to report the change within 30 days.

You'll also need to have worked out what your hours actually are.

Work are to put new hours in writing, hopefully start new shifts 2 weeks exc mon bank holiday.

As ive been full time I havent found the time, and probably dont have the required knowledge to calculate hours myself.

Thanks though I'll call dwp when I get confirmation of hours.

Change of hours as MS is taking priority, over 5 years since diagnosed 2012-only difference is time has flown past cause i've had to work whilst living at home with MS.

MSEr's help is amazingly appreciated.

Quick calculation -7.5*5 =37.5 hours

New hours 7.5*3=22.5 hours
