Coupon-mad, myself and my partner cannot thank you enough. We are both overwhelmed at your kindness.

Thank you so much for all your help. And thank you everybody else who has contributed towards this forum and helps people.

I shall take the time now to research legislation, previous cases and posts to prepare us for our defence.

    Thank you once again.

No worries, I hate Britannia, useless little firm IMHO. I can't believe they are trying this when they have no POFA wording on their NTKs.

We will help you with a defence if needed, too. I don't think you will need one if you send that letter (keep proof). It is designed to end it now.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The driver is not identified in your letter and your client has failed to meet the requirements of The Protection of Freedoms Act to pursue me as keeper.

After you get the defence is, then send a Subject Access Request to Britannia and the DVLA.

Britannia had restricted access to the DVLA during the period as there were significant issues with their paperwork. This may be a fishing exercise to see what you may confess too.

Also if the Britannia paperwork has holes in it which it may, it may be a chance to get the DVLA to restricted their access again.

    Hello again all,

It's been a little over 2 weeks since posted the letter and have not heard anything since. It was sent recorded delivery so we know they have received it.

Does the 14 day reply rule apply between each correspondence as it did with me and the timeframe I had for the LBC?

I'm not sure what to think of the lack of response we have received but fingers crossed it is a good sign.

    1. Would I be able to use this same template (I'll edit my version for referring to 'UK Parking Control Ltd' instead of 'Britannia' and remove the points about multiple companies signage as this doesn't apply for my scenario) for a letter to 'SCS Law' regarding 8 fines sent to me as well? LBA is dated 09/06017 so really need to respond asap...

    2. Can I email the response or should I post it recorded delivery?

    3. The LBA that SCS law have sent me seems to cover all the PD points, unlike other threads suggest regarding them missing things out... No mention anywhere of what to do if they get it right?

New to the forum so thanks for any help in advance! :D

    1. I'd recommend searching this board for UK Parking Control posts within the last 3-6 months first (use "Show Posts" not "Show Threads") as there will be something there you can use.
    2. You could do both, but:
    a) Make sure to CC it to yourself to show delivery
    b) We don't recommend recorded delivery as some PPCs will refuse to accept the envelope, just get a free COP at the Post Office
    3. I'd still go over what they have sent and check it against the PD points very carefully - there's still a chance they've borked something up somewhere.

Also, if you need some more help after that, can you please start a new thread so we can keep the advice for Doodakoff and yourself in the correct places and not confuse everyone.

Never use recorded delivery UKPC use a multitude of addresses none of which is their real office address (hidden off Gregories Road, Beaconsfield).

The others are fake eg; a post office sorting centre near Uxbridge, a row of shops near Denham, a fake address in Coventry.

All to throw you off the scent and will not get signed in. Just send with free proof of posting.
