There may be a housing officer at your local council that deals with private tenant's problems. They might be able to help with your landlord.0

1) he cant get you out without a eviction notice so he has to serve you with a section 21 which will give you 2months and then he has to apply to the court to evict you.
2) change the locks and then write to him if you want stating that his conduct i.e. entering your flat without permission is illegal and that you reserve the right to issue proceedings if he does anything further to harrass you or attempt entry0 -
Regardless of legalities, 2 weeks is an insult.0

Most of the advice above is good, but let's just check,,,,,,,
* is your property in England/Wales?
* do you have an entire self-contained property (flat/house) or do you have a room in a shared property?
* does the LL (either new or old) live with you?
* do you have a fixed term tenancy? What are the dates?
* if no fixed term or the fixed term has ended, what are your tenancy periods?
I think we know the answers - but best to be sure as it might make a big difference legally.0
