Teacher threatened by CP plus 'fine'

Hi All,
After teaching today, I returned to my car to find a threat from CP plus staff for displaying an invalid permit. I pay £16.66 per month in the college car park. I don't see why I should purchase a 2nd ticket, when I pay monthly.
I have recently purchased a new car, I haven't had the time to visit HR to complete the new forms, mainly because of the demands of teaching. So, I've been parking using my old permit. I received a 2nd warning on the 24th April. (My first warning was for parking over a parking line.)
The day after my 2nd warning, I posted a polite note in my windscreen dated 25.4.17 explaining that this was my new car and I will up-date my permit ASAP. Again, I've been really busy, teaching for 9 hours the following day, I regularly work through lunch, working approximately 50 hours a week.
Today, I received an aggressive 3rd warning, telling me I would be issued with a fine next time I park without a valid permit. The note was written in capitals and stated it didn't matter about my note in the windscreen.
Where do I stand on this matter? Can I complain? Should I be worried?
I am annoyed, just like our over-worked nurses, it appears CP plus are targeting teachers now.

Have you rattled the HR Department's cage? They should be very aware of the work pressures on you and, if they are worth their salt, act on your behalf.
Do you belong to one of the Teaching Unions? If so, get your money's worth from your salary deductions.
As you haven't yet had a parking charge, I suggest you get your permit sorted out - pronto.it appears CP plus are targeting teachers now. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I understand the workload as I too am a teacher. However, you must make time to sort out your parking permit. It's just like approaching DVLA and saying you haven't had time to pay for your road tax yet. I think they've been pretty fair giving you warnings. If you do get a fine you'll have no one else to blame because they have given you a few chances and can probably proove it!0

It is NOTHING like that! (I also work in education but you need to educate yourself about these scams).I think they've been pretty fair giving you warnings.
Disagree. If you do get a fine
It isn't a 'fine' in a college car park. You need to read some more of this forum and spot a scam. Have you not come across private parking 'tickets' and the racketeers that issue them?you'll have no one else to blame because they have given you a few chances and can probably prove it!
Disagree.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But they're above any rules, they just make them up, then catch people out with them! Pity you didn't have a dash camera running.
