parked on double yellow line

hello everyone

I've got a question and will need a little advise and help.

so, i have parked my car on a double yellow line on a Sunday afternoon at black street road, hammersmith, ( i know, am not allowed ) the prescribed hours for parking ( in bays obviously) are mon-sat 9 - 6.30 i believe and i was there on sunday. so i got a ticket, no excuse i know i shouldn't park on double yellow lines at all, but on the ticket the reason for contravention is "parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours" and also the street on the ticket is "Studland street" which is no where near it. oh and they did take pictures of my car on yellow lines.

Do you think i could challenge this ticket on the basis of wrong information on the ticket?

your help and advise would be appreciated

Wrong place ... you'd be better posting over on Pepipoo as they're better set up to deal with real fines.

Don't try to register with a Hotmail address, and when you post you'll need to include scans/photos of both sides of all paperwork (redacted of personal details of course).

01 parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours is the correct contravention.

However wrong location is a slam dunk win.

Appeal on the grounds that the contravention did not occur since your vehicle was parked in Black Street Road and was not parked at the location stated on.the PCN

Def check it out on PePiPoo before firing off your appeal. Many council ticket experts over there. You will need to register with the forum using your email address, but the site won't accept a hotmail email addy.
