Sent my iPhone to a company called iphonerecycling who had offered £93. This was on the basis of it being faulty/damaged. It had a smashed screen.
They were supposed to offer a same day money transfer. After sending it back, they informed me it was still linked to my iCloud account, which I since have removed and informed them. They have acknowledged this however haven't sent the money and I've sent them several emails asking what's happening, no reply. It's been 3 days now. Any thoughts?

How strange.
I just had an online chat with them about some dubious points in their T&Cs. Had to wait about five minutes for their first response, but all good from then on.
Perhaps they don't want to chat with you.
It looks like your only remaining option is to write them a letter.
There is an address on their website.0 -
There are some very bad reviews about them on trustpilot , many people echoing your experience. You didn't already leave a bad review did you?!
He also owns a mobile phone repair shop in Cardiff called " the phone home".

Locornwall, did you get a satisfactory result?0 -
We have exchanged several email, albeit it seems to take several days to get a reply.
I've been told the phone is linked to an iCloud account. I have followed the instructions to remove the link and believe it's removed, however iPhone recycling keep telling me it's still linked. They told me they could return the handset or recycle it. Not sure what that means, however will email and enquire. I think I'll be offered a lesser amount, which makes me believe this is all a bit of a con. I sent the phone approximately 2 weeks ago with the idea of getting a quick sale. Not impressed.0 -
I called the above telephone number up yesterday. Seemed to catch the person out who picked up the phone. He told me iPhonerecycling are a different department and would pass my details onto them. If I'm honest seems like a very dodgy company. Any idea what would be the best next steps to take?0
