All,
I had an accident this year by the named driver
If i don't include the named driver on my policy renewal, then i don't need to declare it right?
Claim was made on my policy by the named driver

Wrong.
If named driver no longer on your policy then you disclose the claim as part of your history0 -
Yeah you nee to declare it, especially if a claim was made under your policy.0

Record of an accident doesn't automatically transfer to you if you take the named driver off.
Depends on how the ask the question about accidents. It's unlikely insurers will take it into consideration but best to mention it just to be on the safe side.0 -
OP mentions that there was a claim on his policy, therefore he does need to declare it whether the named driver is taken off or not.0

The same as if you made a claim on your policy when it wasn't being driven by anyone - eg stolen, caught fire, handbrake slipped. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
