How many viewings

Options
Our house went back on the market last Friday and we've had 3 viewings since, with 2 more planned for the next few days.

I was expecting a few more tbh but is this kind of average? How many viewings to sell? We live in the SE, the house is a 2 bedroom terrace so I expect it will mainly appeal to first time buyers and investors.

There's not a rule such as "must have 10 viewings before a sale" !!! :D

5 in a week seems good to me, average of 1 a day. You may get five offers. Or none.

It only takes one, but it's encouraging to feel there are more.

However, the number of viewings doesn't always matter. If it is the kind of agent who puts pressure on potential buyers to view anything and everything then that's not as useful as an agent who is more selective and only sends people who are looking at your type of property.

We've been on the market for 4 weeks, have had approx 6 viewings and no offers made. I thought we were doing well!

Tax changes will take many potential investors out of the market IMO.
  • Ours went online Monday night, had four viewings booked Tuesday-Sat and sold to the first people to view on the Tuesday. Ours is a 2 bed semi and it's an elderly couple buying.
