House selling

Hi we are currently 8 weeks into selling our property. Survey has been done now buyers have requested Gas and Electric check any advice as to what this entails ? Thanks

    Yes.

    A gas engineer will inspect your gas appliances.

    An electrician will inspect your electrical installations.

    What else?

    edit: chances are both will conclude your property does not meet current standards.

    Have they requested you pay for them?

    If so tell them to jog on, if not allow them but don't negotiate on their results, as GM says, unless everything was fitted yesterday nothing will be up to current regs.
