Help with windows media player

I have recently come back from holiday and have downloaded my video clips from my digital camera onto my windows vista which has a windows media player "11" when i try to watch my clips a message comes up saying an audio codec is needed to play this file can anyone help with a link thanks to anyone who helps.

You'll probably need a "quicktime" codec.
