Best place for small regular amounts

Hi all!
Recently got interested in Stocks and Shares Isa's, originally started putting into the Money box app (it was easy and kind of fun). the free 'trial' has now ended and the fees are very high (£1 per month, plus 0.45% of the total investment per year. this would be fine but these are small amounts (£10 - £15 per week).
a few basic stats:
Currently save £500 per month into a regular saver.
Maxed out the Nationwide £2.5k allowance on their current account.
have maxed out my pension / employer contribution percentage (6% / 12%).
i would like to keep this as a bit of a learning experience and keep investing in S&S, but i don't want it to cost me loads (at my current rate it would cost me £14.34 per year, clearly not loads but still 2 - 3% on a projected 5% return).
any suggestions, recommendations or if you just think i'm doing it wrong id like to hear!
many thanks!

I'd forget Moneybox. A good look around Monevator wouldn't be the worst use of your time. It favours cheap index tracking as a strategy but this could be right up your street

Could you stretch to £50 per month? Most online platforms will accept a regular investment instruction for that much, and frequently they will allow you to suspend and resume your instruction (ie skip months). The lowest cost might be someone like Charles Stanley Direct where it's 0.25% of your holdings per year (so 12.5p for every £50).
I think one or two platforms have a £25pm minimum investment, but I don't know what they are.0
