No, the dividend changes were always intended to apply from April 2018 and will do so (assuming they're passed into law)....0

No change in when the dividend change is to happen but a lot of the changes covered by the recent announcement apply to this tax year.Hence the reply to redux that yes it's urgent and shouldn't wait three to four months.0

The Finance Bill including the taxable dividend changes (reducing the 0% rate from £5k to £2k) received Royal assent on 16th November so it will now definitately happen from April 20180
