No change in when the dividend change is to happen but a lot of the changes covered by the recent announcement apply to this tax year.Hence the reply to redux that yes it's urgent and shouldn't wait three to four months.

Yes, I agree that changes affecting 2017/18 should be progressed as a matter of urgency, but was just clarifying that the recent announcement doesn't change the scheduled implementation dates of any of the measures (and in particular the dividend changes that are the topic of this thread), which wasn't clear from the way that several posts were worded above, which implied the opposite.

The Finance Bill including the taxable dividend changes (reducing the 0% rate from £5k to £2k) received Royal assent on 16th November so it will now definitately happen from April 2018
