Balance transfer from BC to Marks and Spencer card

Query now answered. I checked with BC and they confirmed credit card no I quoted is the same as on the card I am transferring the debt away from.

The odd thing is on my Marks statement the card no. shown is different to the actual card number printed on the card itself.

    Hi there - apologies for the revival of an older thread, but I was wondering if you were in a similar position to me.

    I've transferred a balance away from M&S to a 0% card. I typed the M&S card number in correctly, when I applied for the 0% card online. But the M&S balance hasn't updated; it's been a week and I am going to give them a call.

    My M&S credit card number is not the same as shown online; I put this down to having a new card issued about 2 months ago after I lost the original. Didn't really think much of it but I'm starting to worry now...where the heck has the balance transfer gone!

    Does this sound anything like your experience? Was it all resolved OK?

    Thank you for your message.

    I can confirm the transfer amount of xxx GBP is currently pending to clear on your M&S Credit Card Account.

    Once the payment has cleared the account, this will show within your recent transactions online

    In regards to your M&S Card Number, every M&S customer has an account number which is different from the card number. This will allow us to stop an individual card if it's lost or stolen.

    If you have any questions please message us, or call our Customer Service team on 0345 900 0900. Lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    EDIT - Rather than replying, I just wanted to put this to bed by saying that the balance transfer has gone through.

    Monday : Text from Lloyds who said Balance Transfer was completed and funds would typically appear next day.
    Thursday : Nothing showing on M&S card. Ideally wanted it to hit before statement date so I get a zero balance statement. Called M&S in the evening who said there was nothing pending on the account.
    Friday (today) : Balance transfer completed :D
