Debt recovery plus limited letter - Scotland

Hi

I received a debt recovery plus Ltd letter stating I owe them £160 for an unpaid parking charge notice due to my vehicle being parked "in a manner where the driver attracted a parking charge as brought to the drivers attention via signage...." if I don't reply within 3 weeks further action will be taken and I will be liable for up to £1k.

I don't remember parking like a mad man and am always meticulous about parking in a bay so I'm not sure how I could have got this notice. Should I ignore or contact them to query or what would you advise?

Thanks!

Advice in Scotland is to ignore them, whatever lies they spout out. In Scotland POFA 2012 does not apply so they can only go after the driver and you will not tell them who this is. Expect more garbage.

DRP in England and Wales are simply the biggest joke going in the scammers industry but in Scotland they would have better luck chasing the Loch Ness Monster.

YOU DO NOT OWE DRP ANY MONEY .... JUST IGNORE until they get fed up wasting their money

Liable for up to £1k, what total rubbish which should be reported to Trading Standards Scotland

DRP like all the scammers read this forum for educational purposes
