I extended onto the pavement with few problems.

I find that as pedestrians walk through the kitchen, offering them some tea and cake smooths things down and compensates for their inconvenience.
Be a bit of a bu**er on bin day, though, as the world and his mate like to put their bins along the side of our house. :D
Actually, on our deeds, the red line (boundary) goes right out to the middle of the side street, so I guess I could charge them for putting their bins there and, indeed, parking there.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

Lol, thanks for all your replies, and also the map!! Very nice.

The red boundary line on the deeds looks fine. I'll resist building my off-license in anyone's back garden, the pavement, or bin area.

I will, however, offer cake to anyone passing close to, or indeed through, any extension, imaginary or realised.

Excellent, I'll be along later. Can you give me directions please?

Just look out for the off license/cake hut built over the neighbour's back yard.
