This beautiful Grade I historic hall dates back from the 13th century with important later additions in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The grey stone walls, mullioned windows and the coat of arms above the doorway give the appearance of a gracious manor house, and the beautiful 30 acre gardens feature wisteria and rambling rose, woodland waterways, and an ornamental lake and a fountain complete with a replica of the famous bridge at Lucerne. Wandering through the stunning and peaceful gardens, you feel a world away from the fast paced modern world, yet Monk Fryston is easily accessible from the A1M and M62 and a short drive from York and Leeds.
