Wright Hassall ZZPS threatning letter

I just received a threat of a CCJ letter from Wright Hassall, is that name a joke? for £416 for 3 parking tickets in a birmingham car park on behalf of Elite management midlands ltd. I was advised by friend to ignore the previous letters but now am in tears over this solicitors letter. I am a pensioner without a state pension and can barely live on my monthly private pension, what should I do? I am so scared a baliff will come to my house and remove my precious possesions, I live by myself. thank you

Firstly, your friend was wrong, you would be given a chance to appeal but that facility has gone now.
Tell your friend not to give bad advice to others.
The rule is "do not ignore but do not pay"

Secondly, nobody will come knocking on your door especially bailiffs

Thirdly, the letter you received as you mention ZZPS, is simply a debt collectors letter where they use "rent a solicitor name" to try to scare you as they have done.

WRIGHT HASSALL is indeed a real solicitor who play around with scammers. It is difficult to believe that a solicitor would try to fake things but then Wright Hassall cannot be seen as professionals ?

The letter is scaremongering giving you the wrong impression about a CCJ.
You would only get a CCJ IF ...

    1: YOU LOST IN COURT
2: YOU DID NOT PAY WITHIN THE TIME PERIOD ADVISED BY THE COURT

So, you can see that such a letter makes Wright Hassall look so stupid ..... they are aware of that themselves

Would you use a solicitor like Wright Hassall if they don't know at what point a CCJ happens .... doubt it

Read this about the same situation ....
Same old rubbish which makes Wright Hassall and ZZPS one of the top scammers in the UK

It is said that GOOGLE is your best friend but typing in Wright Hassall would put people off their dinner .... type in Wright Hassall ZZPS and we wonder how stupid they are to let it get this far. I often wonder just how many clients do Wright Hassall lose because they go to bed with scammers

Give us more information how this parking rubbish happened

Please don't worry and there is no need to feel the way you are feeling right now.

Beamerguy is spot on above. Nobody can come to your house and take your possessions until they have 1) been to court, 2) the judge decides against you and tells you to pay, 3) you don't pay AND 4) then the court subsequently authorises bailiffs.
So you are way off any of that happening.

Right now you are just being sent (inaccurate) letters trying to scare you into paying money.

Try to relax and then come back here with the details of how you got these PCNs and people will advise. When you put details up, do not reveal who was driving. Say things like "the Driver parked at XYZ car park" not "person B parked at XYZ car park".
  • 1. 'No Ticket' bought ticket but the driver returned to car and the ticket blew off the dashboard onto floor un noticed.
    2. 'Ticket not displayed correctly' I believe the driver left it upside down on the dashboard, or it slipped below the shaded area of the windscreen.
thank you for your help, what should I do next?

This is a private parking company who have no legal authority at all. They try to frighten people by using fake solicitors' letters and threats of CCJs and credit clamps.

Even if they did take you to court and win, you do not have to pay them a penny if your credit rating did not matter to you. Alternatively, although you could offer them a very low figure, say 50p - £1.00 a month, which a judge night endorse.

Astonishingly, no, it's real. But that's just a debt letter to ignore...search the forum for 'Tim Hawker' and you will find it laughed about on lots of the threads.

the sky does not fall in re a private parking ticket and no-one comes knocking. Let us know if you get an actual court claim (or a Letter before Claim from Elite or Gladstones) because that must be acknowledged and dealt with - it is something we can help with too.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
