Estate agent charge for time not living in the property?

Hi,
I've recently moved out of a rented house. My tenancy ended on a bank holiday and as a result the check out was the next week. As a result the estate agents are asking to deduct 4 days rent from the deposit as owed rent.
Do I actually owe this? I understand their thinking is that the keys weren't back until the checkout but as far as I'm aware my end date was my end date and I was out of the house and all was cleaned etc before that.

Surely it was your responsibility to make sure they had the keys back in time, is there any reason it wasn't better arranged by both parties?0
