Hi,
We want to buy a set of 5 downlights to fit into our soffit on the front of the house and so far all the ones i have looked at are for internal use. We would like them to be white and come with a transformer..
Can anyone tell me if they have done the same with their soffits and which downlights they used as i've tried screwfix and bnq and cannot find them..
Thanks in advance..

You can use the ones suitable for bathrooms and porches etc.If they are under the soffits they will be sheltered. We asked an electrician about it last week as we want them fitted too.;)0

Just thought Woody, I don't know how large your house is but we need 10 for the width of our house. We have a garage, window and door along the front of the house.
Also B & Q do a set of 5 for £10.;)0 -
These are the bulbs I was going to stick in....http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220698&C=Froogle&U=220698&T=Module ...A bit more expensive ,but over the years it will save you and with a lifettime of 8,000 hours ,think of all those annoying bulb changing momments that you get rid of.
**This is a 240 bulb ,not a 12v..0 -
Looking to install some lights in the soffit above the garage with a dawn to dusk sensor. Any ideas?0
