    Yes, I know someone who bought at auction and it was a very good investment, enabling them to own a home which suits their chosen lifestyle and improve it as money becomes available.

    However this has no bearing whatever on whether you or anyone else will be able to do similarly well.

    Other people's stories are only reality for them.
