The prize:
The winner and a guest will spend three nights, B&B, at Hotel Endsleigh, Olga Polizzi’s luxurious country-house hotel on the edge of Dartmoor, in Devon. Overlooking the River Tamar and set in 100 acres of gardens and parkland, the hotel occupies a grade I listed hunting and fishing lodge built for the Duke of Bedford in the early 19th century. Inside, there are just 18 rooms and suites, filled with elegant furniture and richly patterned fabrics. Dinner is served in a grand wood-panelled room, and José Graziosi brings an Italian touch to local produce such as venison, mackerel and Devon Blue cheese. Two dinners for two, excluding drinks, and a half-day guided walk on Dartmoor with Explore in Cornwall (exploreincornwall.co.uk) are included.
The prize must be taken in May or June, or from October 1 to March 31, 2018, subject to availability and excluding school and public holidays.
