My LBCs worked - driver has received a letter this morning from Admiral, enclosing a copy of a letter from Excel confirming they are discontinuing.
The letter from Excel says that Admiral is paying them a settlement of £250!!!!!! Admiral have described this charge as "the court fees". Admiral has been ripped off, but as long as the driver is off the hook.....Although a practising Solicitor, my posts here are NOT legal advice, but are personal opinion based on limited facts provided anonymously by forum users. I accept no liability for the accuracy of any such posts and users are advised that, if they wish to obtain formal legal advice specific to their case, they must seek instruct and pay a solicitor.0 -

Well done for sticking with this one, but there are a lot of issues here that need to be investigated.
No doubt another will come to court and we can see what a judge makes of it. Admiral will clearly be interested in the outcome, if they have to fork out £250 each time. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Well done LoC, another discontinuance. Clearly none of these guys dare face you in court.0

Admiral will regret this - others can follow suit - but very well done as ever, Loadsofchildren123!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
