Old unclaimed dividends and ARM cert

I'm stupid and never got my dividends paid directly into my bank account and sometimes wouldn't get round to cashing the cheques due to the small amount. So I have two dividend checks sitting on my desk from a few years ago so expired. One from Barclays and one from ARM. Both of very small amounts (under £5 each).
How do you go about claiming these considering they've expired and more confusingly, now ARM have been bought by another company?
And the other question. I purchased ARM years ago and then when using Alliance Trust Savings (after having been moved to them from Nationwides offereing, Stocktrade). Before Nationwide forced you to have an account I'd do it by phone and they'd send me the certificates. I'd forgotten I still had some. The ARM shares I had with Alliance Trust Savings were automatically sold when ARM changed hands, because Alliance Trust Savings held the certificates. However, what do I do with the ARM certificates I have? I have 176 shares on the certificate.

It's a long while since I worked for a stockbroker, but my first port of call would be the company registrars to ask their advice. Equiniti is the registrar for both Barclays and ARM and ARM and their Customer Services phone number is 03456 037 037.0

Thanks for that. I went through about 2 numbers of theirs before they sent me to the correct one which is:
0371 384 2883
Appears despite still having the certificate when all shares were bought back by SoftBank these were included so I've already been paid for them.
That's good, but also a little sad as could of done with the £2k they were worth
Thanks for help.0 -
And found another, this time BP. If you need to call them they are now with Capita not Equiniti as it stated on my cheque.
They are on 0371 664 0445 and they should then transfer you to the dedicated BP line.0
