Have the the £1 one-off DDs been stopped ?

Around this time in February I had to arrange a DD using Go Cardless because my mother's Bank of Scotland Vantage a/c was one short. Unfortunately it wasn't taken until 1st March, and she is still unable to log in to BoS so I fear the same thing might happen this month. It was quite a quick and easy thing to arrange but when I tried on Friday I couldn't find the facility anywhere on their site, despite spending 15 minutes looking. Have I just forgotten the navigation route or have they stopped it? It seems unlikely because they get all of the pound.

The website that you are trying to advertise appears to offer businesses a method of offering their customers the chance to pay them by direct debit. How could you have set up a direct debit through this website? To who?
And why can your Mother still not log on to her account after so long? Surely you are not implying this has anything to do with her being one direct debit short?

GoCardless facilitate dds for businesses. They do not afaik arrange arrange dds for general users themselves. So your " GoCardless" dd was probably arranged by another outfit, who use GoCardless. It is the other outfit you should be asking about.

Edited to add: perhaps it was through http://www.littledebits.org/ I think they use GoCardless.
