...you have no idea about money.
...
My credit score was ruined over a year ago when I was made redundant and had to default on my utility and card bills for a few months.
Being made redundant is a terrible thing to happen to anybody, but I'm not sure that puts you in a position to tell another poster they have no idea about money, nor call them names.
Why did you default on bills? If your credit score was previously good then why not a loan or overdraft to cover the period when you were unemployed. Or ask for payment holidays on the debts you were temporarily unable to pay.
Someone who has an idea about money would have had an emergency fund of savings to make sure they were never in a position of having to default on bills with the severe consequences that has on your future.
Hopefully you'll have learned from that experience, but your question at the start of this thread and your poll suggests maybe not."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

HengaLenga... you have no idea about money.
A poor credit rating which has prevented me from getting a full current account has nothing to do with debt, as I'm debt free.

Now I'm debt free, what would selling my iPhone accomplish?
I believe you are just jealous because you can't afford one.
I'm not an iPhone person so jealously wouldn't happen.
If you had a Galaxy S8, possibly

The people on Barclays savings website do look very happy with their 0.05% a year interest:

To be fair though, the kids really do look happy - especially with 1.5% on up to £1 Million. Must be lots of under-18's with the odd million quid in cash to tuck away somewhere."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
Lol and those millionaire kids need to keep that million in cash! Despite not having accessThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Barclays is either going bust, getting broken up or it's getting liquidated in 2019 due to the fraud charges.
Stick with Lloyds. You will be safer there.0
