There were some brilliant comps years ago from bigger brands, I won hundreds of pounds worth of John Lewis vouchers from an instant win comps a few times and mcvities had a really good competition going once too, Cadburys used to do a cool yearly one. It has dwindled since social media became the be all and end all. Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I only got into comping after that was pulled, yet I hear so much about it. The Advents last year in my opinion were a bit meh, the year before there seemed to be so much more so I can only imagine what they used to be like.
For the last Currys wishlist (2013) you could pick 5 items to make your wishlist, each list could potentially be worth over £1,600 and everyday for 56 days a winner got their list.
Although that was the biggest one to go I would say the advents were already on a downward slide before that as 2012 was the last year for several others or the prizes became smaller and/or fewer of them and the rise of the non-prizes set in (discounts/tips/free P&P etc).0 -

The previous year was slightly different with 67 daily draws to win a £500 giftcard and 9 weekly draws to win a wishlist worth up to £5,0000
