Debt Recovery Plus

So a while ago I received a parking fine at my Uni, got told by pretty much everyone to ignore it, even staff at the Uni agreed it shouldn't have been issued - (you're supposed to get a warning first time and the fine is supposed to be a £20 fine as displayed around the car park, not the £60 that was issued).
Anyway few months down the line I recorded a letter from DRP, standard blah blah blah for £160. I wrote an email back denying the debt and asking them not to contact me again. About a week later I received another letter from them. Through the post.
A week or so after that I received a long winded email back from DRP, somewhat scary but templated with it been seen on many other sites, claiming that they were being reasonable and still trying to make me pay.
Anyway, just yesterday, yet another letter from them offering a lower amount (£130ish I think), saying that not doing so risks court which could affect my credit rating blah blah
My question is quite simply, are they potentially in breach as they are continuing to pester me when I've asked them not to?

What you are getting is the standard range of templates sent to intimidate you into paying. Getting the 'reduced' offer means that DRP is getting to then end of the line.
But then they're likely to 'set loose' Zenith on you, to tighten the screws further. Guess what......? No, I'll let you check the Zenith letter's bottom right hand corner and read the light grey text to reveal exactly who Zenith are!
If you can't stand the suspense, Google 'Who are Zenith Collections'!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
