Who hates Real Player ? there is an alternative

Hi All,
Hands up who hates real player. Personally i think it is the biggest bloatest most invasive software i have come accross. It always wants to take over all your file associations and sneakily reports your activities back to its web site. It wants to sit in your system try and they want you to register so they can spam you.
Many people use realplayer to connect to the bbc's services.
Well good news there is an alternative

it is a realplayer codec that is very small and lightweight and works with all realplayer streams. It uses Windows media player classic as its host application but you dont have to use it just click on the bbc radio stations and it will play. Any other realplayer stream will just open in WMP classic

Thanks Frak. I was annoyed that you had to use Real Player to access the BBC. I'll try this.

Quicktime is bab too, theres an alternative on the webpage posted above.

cracking - bloody real player always crashes when i try to listen to the BBC, dunno why they use it the amount of money they swindle from me every year they could have written their own player!
