Makeup rights

Hi I bought a concealers from charlotte tilbury, I asked the assistance to help me with picking the correct shade to cover my eye bags. She test the shade on me and it looked good.

Next day when I tried the concealer it wasnt the correct shade it looked so light and ashy.

Do I have a right for a refund?

You certainly have no statutory right.
All sales should be considered final unless advised otherwise at the time of the sale.

Did the assistant insist you bought an unsuitable product, or did you willingly buy the stuff having agreed it was suitable?

Looks like you have changed your mind.
Does their returns policy allow for a refund in this situation?

Different lighting no doubt. You should have went outside and went for coffee or something and checked it in different lighting before returning

It's on you, sorry. It's bought in store and now used.

There's loads of places to sell used make up and CT is popular so I'm sure you'll get a buyer.

Many of the larger brands will allow exchanges and refunds if you are unhappy. I purchased concealer from an Estee Lauder concession in Boots this week and they said they would exchange or refund if it wasn't a good match.

It .might be the powder you are using that is causing the colour change. Bobbi Brown yellow powder and Laura Mercier secret brightening powder don't interfere with the colour.

    It's personal choice also.
Some peeps like the heavily made up look, others like the natural look.
It could be the way you applied it, brushes, technique etc.
