As above, we currently have a stick on, wireless doorbell but am looking at the Ring Doorbell Pro which needs to be hardwired. I see its a 2 core wire, but how/where is this terminated the other end please?

The kit's apparently intended to be installed to an existing traditional hard-wired push-switch and mains-powered chime box. Your current wireless doorbell setup wouldn't work with it as far as I can see.

Ah okay, in Europe they supply a 24 Vac transformer that needs to be installed on a DIN rail, probably inside your electrical Consumer Unit — i.e. an electrician job. There's a separate chime unit that works like a plug-in wireless one.
