Help with Kitchen floor tile

Hello,
I am hoping some of you can help me with choosing the best floor tiles for my kitchen and hallway.

I am currently having my kitchen renovated, everything has been removed includig foor tiles in the kitchen and hallway. I had purchased some Ceramic Azzara Foor and wall tiles from wickes, which are 10mm thick. Can i please ask your opinions if this is suitable as floor tiles in these areas. I read in one post that floor tiles should be at least 12mm.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Many Thanks
