Hi! I have already bought used tires and I'd like to fit them in my car. As I live in UK only for 9 months, I need your opinion how much should I pay for it and maybe you know some cheap garage in York?
Thanks!
Thanks!

£10-15 per tyre is likely - try the small backstreet places ahead of the big glossy nationals.0

Get the tyres inspected first. There maybe a reason they were for sale. Repaired in a non safe area?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

you'll be paying not much less than had you bought the tyres from the used tyre fitting shop.0

Hi! I'm going to pick them up tomorrow. 45 pounds for 2,5 years old Michelin Energy Saver with 5 mm tread I think is a good deal. He sold them as he changed for wider tires with lower profile and he has 300 only positive comments on eBay. Anyway I'm gonna inspect them as much as I can.
Didn't want to buy new, cheap China tires as I would be much more anyway and I have 15 years old Hyundai Coupe worth less than 1000 pounds so probably not so reasonable to pay loads of money for parts... :-) But I want to have good quality tires as it's my and my passengers safety even if I drive slowly.
I think there is no way they will be worse compared to what I have now. :-)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Depends on what you expect from a tyre, I have these on my Mondeo and they're terrible, no grip and the sidewalls are so soft it makes the car feel like a boat. I've been trying to run them down evenly over the last 12 months, so that I can get some new rubber all round.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Are they really? They have really great opinions in the Internet. I'm rather slow driver. I expect safety, good fuel efficiency, comfort and low noise as Hyundai Coupe likes to be loud. If you find them soft then I think that's what I was looking for.
I picked up the tires anyway. Really good condition, will change them soon before my long trip to Snowdonia.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I wonder if that gives any indication as to the way he has treated the tyres you bought? You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -
Haha, it was my first thought too that it might be tires from some "street racer and tuner" but when I firstly heard him by phone and then saw him I just thought he's a car passionate. This 55-60 years old men didn't look and sound like a tuner... :PHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
