New Speeding Fines
I was caught speeding on 10/4/17 and received a Notice of Intended Prosecution today.
The new fine system starts this Monday 24/4/17. Will a fine be calculated on the date of the offence (10/4/17) or the date of conviction? I'm a bit confused because on the back of the NIP is states that the fixed penalty procedures consist of 3 points and £100 fine under the old/current system??

Date of the offence on a NIP.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The new fine regime only applies at court, it does not affect fixed penalties.
If it does go to court, then normally the penalties at the date of offence would apply.0
