    The electric shower.

Not sure I would want a cold tank just used by a shower and nothing else to turn over the contents..

Then you don't need the tank.
  • I've spoken to the guy this morning and explained that I'd rather have a mixer shower. He said it's no bother but if the pressure is rubbish and lots of people are all using water in the area at the same time then it'll not be very good. Can't really see how the header tank thing with an electric shower would make much difference to that.

Won't the header tank provide the pressure?

With a mixer shower and a combi the pressure will be the same as the pressure on your cold tap (ours is). It can be affected by how many people are using the water in your property but I've never heard of it being affected by others in the neighbourhood?
We have had an electric shower in the past, it couldn't come close to the mixer shower we have now.

    The electric shower.
Ah, I see, I thought you were considering a tank/cylinder for hot water.
