    And the article says ...
"A government spokesman said: “We’re committed to reforming unfair parking practices and have already taken steps to tackle rogue private parking operators, including the banning of wheel clamping and towing.”

What government are they talking about ?? Cannot be Mrs May's lot as she promised fairness for all:eek:

4.71 million releases of private data but this is not the total of people, how many people just pay up before the DVLA gives out info ?

Even so, 4.71 million people are a lot voters and people will vote with their grievance

May has only a few weeks to convince voters that she is sincere but one thinks she left it too late

And Jeremy Corbyn will be the one to put our beloved PPCs to the sword? Perhaps he'll nationalise them, have them running around in grey suits, with a red book in their hand to write down car registrations.

Bring on the revolution - and cheap package holidays to Pyongyang.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • The SNP will sort this out, Scotland will stop this even if down south you let them continue!
If you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.

I would rather have the status quo than Comrade Jeremy in Downing Street
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • I have a terrible confession to make.
I paid LPC for a pcn in 2012. Didn't give it a second's thought. It looked like a council fine and I didn't hesitate (I confess I had parked without paying - and it was only 50p....)

Wow Loadsof! That is a confession.

I once paid a Council PCN when parked on a single yellow with NO SIGN (not a CPZ) when collecting something - l would have had a valid appeal but I didn't know it then!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I see that useless lump Eric Pickles who kept promising to sort out all parking woes has announce he is standing down at the next election.

Apart from his shear size I doubt anyone will notice he's gone!
  • Maybe we should get Opic Lambet or whatever is name is to stand - you know the one who got done the other day, used to be an MP, ditched Sian Lloyd the BBC Weather Girl and then went off with one of the Cheeky Girls
