We currently have one of the older Virgin routers. It runs our home network - several pcs connected via ethernet cable and including a netgear router to provide extra capacity - and wifi for our laptops notebooks, phones etc. It runs off high speed broadband cable.
Phoned up Virgin earlier in the week about issues with wifi and was surprised to be told that the older routers were causing issues with wifi for many customers and so they would be sending me out a new router - FOC - plug and play.
Well the new router has arrived and as I happen to be off sick with a heavy cold at present, I thought I might see about setting it up. (I did not set up the last one, my son did it for me but he is not around at present.) I went on line to my pc and found the Virgin site where it is supposed to give you full instructions. However when I clicked on "follow this link to find out how to set up your router", the link was broken.
So anyone got any tips on installation - bearing in mind we want cabled access and wifi access and also need to add the netgear router to it to accommodate all our pcs.

Don't you just swap the cables over like for like?
You'll have to login everything that uses wi-fi with the new code0 -
