Petrol prices look set to go up mondy 1st October 2007 :eek: again!!

I filled up from empty today, around 50 litres. That's about a £1 saving- not much but I feel good I've given £1 less to gordon :T

MSE Top Tip: Don't fill your tank all the way. That way each visit to the petrol station will be a bit cheaper.

It's costing you more in driving to the petrol station time after time and all the fuel it uses to start your car after each fill up. If you want to save cash buy a smaller car and driver slower.

Don't know if it's happened elsewhere, but my local filling stations, Shell, Esso, Tesco, raised their prices by 1p/litre about a week ago. No doubt a bit of profiteering in the knowledge that people are going to be filling up prior to tomorrow?
