Car insurance: returning expat with recent small claim

Hi, I'm returning to the uk after a decade abroad. I have a certificate from my current insurers showing 10 years without a claim, except a small claim of less than £200 last year to repair a minor panel dent caused by an adjacent parked car. It is listed as "collision" on the form.

In retrospect, I should have paid for this repair directly, however it was a corporate fully comp policy with no excess.

How will UK insurers view this incident? Will it ruin my no claims bonus? Anyone have any recommendations for a good broker or insurer who accepts foreign NCB?

You don't have 10 years without a claim as you've claimed and even if you had I'm not sure a foreign insurance NCD would be acceptable to UK insurers.

Not claiming that I have 10 years of no claims, I'm simply relating my claim history to you.

The most recent 3 years are on a corporate policy, but the certificate they have provided specifies me as the driver.

I'm not familiar with the UK system and am only asking if it is so black and white that the recent <£200 claim would wipe out all the positive history before.

Documented foreign no claims is accepted by some insurers, hence me asking for recommendations or experiences.

The recent claim recorded on the doc means the "proof" of 10 years claim free motoring you have won't work.
