I've watched for the last few weeks and most featured people who build 'temporary' buildings on land belonging to parents on farms. Although commendable if you have access to it, not feasible for most people!

It did prompt me to look into building something similar in our garden and use as a holiday let :rotfl: DH not impressed.

Elaine used to be a regular on here. I haven't seen her around recently, though. She also has/had a blog called Mortgage-free in three with recipes etc.

I did wonder as she shares a lot of values and ideas that lots of people on here have. Especially when she spoke about No Spend Days. If she'd mentioned Tilly Tidies that would have clinched it for me :rotfl:

The only person worth watching was Elaine. The percentage of the population that could do as she did far out weighs the number of tree huggers/hippies/nomadic that want to live in temporary properties.

Think the programme directors have missed a trick by not focusing enough on the average joe (using money smarts) and looking at the extreme but albeit photogenic hippy types.
    On a mission!

I remember watching a tv show years ago with Alvin Hall. That was a much better way to show how to live mortgage free than this one. I love Sarah Beeny's shows but this one was totally pointless.
