April 10th was my first payday where £750 didnt instantly go back out the door to santander. It was a good feeling! Its not really fully hit home yet though as we have been spending on baby stuff, a chair, cot, buggy etc.Mortgage Free 22/03/17

I think my boyfriend is secretly dreading me watching this. We don't share the same money saving ethos.0

"The housing expert meets inspiring people who have found a way to live without a mortgage, as they share their secrets on how they liberated themselves from debt. In the first episode, Sarah talks to 27-year-old Annie from Lincolnshire, who transformed an unused industrial site into a house worth over £250,000. She also visits 29-year-old Kimberley, who is desperate to be free of the monthly burden of ever-increasing London rent, and decides to transform a 100-year-old derelict Dutch barge"
From reading the guide I am not sure if there will be many of the every day savvy tips etc, it sounds more like a 'grand designs' meets 'homes under the hammer' lite show?0 -

I think you could be right there. Its not just paying it off quicker but finding somewhere dirt cheap and doing it up.Mortgage Free 22/03/17

Oh the episode description is a bit of a let down. I was fully expecting a show to be like MFW: The TV Series :rotfl:
Still going to give it a watch, we're finally buying our first home this Spring/Summer and I'm already playing with OP calculators.0 -
Well, was it any good?0
