Having a friends debit card delivered to my home

A friend has asked me whether I could take delivery of a debit card as he doesn't want it delivered to his home address. The reason for this is that he doesn't want his wife to know about this account. Could he not close the account, and open one somewhere like Metro Bank that will print the debit card in branch, then set the account to e-statements only?

Or forward all his mail to your address for, say, 3 months? (royalmail.com/redirection I believe, for about £15.)
