paris advice please

My work have kindly given me 2 x eurostar returns to paris (for overtime). I have never been to paris, my french is poor ( i can order meals and ask directions but thats about it) Any suggestions please as to where to go and what to do, Im not sure if we shoudl go for the day or stay 1 night or 2 nights more than that would be impossible. Also when would be good to go?
