Hi guys, I know you might moan because this is a Celeron, but you will have to pay for better if u want it!
I'm not sure how long this deal is going to last but it looks pretty nice for the price (hey i'm a poet and I didn't know it!)
Dell Inspirion 6000
I believe the e-value code is N05601
Be nice (first post!)

can you show me the spec and such that you get for that?
I bought a 1.3/40 gig hd/dvd rewriter/512 ram a couple of weeks back on the outlet for 431, but Ive never seen it this cheap on the normal part of the site. I just tried to find the one youre talking about on the business section, and its not there.
whether its actually a bargain or not will depends on the spec.0 -
The spec is on the link.. If your machine is like mine you'll need to click once for it to open and give the Dell home page and then click it again to get the actual link0
-
Excuse my ignorance here, but how does the 6000 compare to the 510m? Is it basically a widescreen version of that machine?0

Use the Home site for better protection under the DSR.

You missed the point, it doesnt have one, nor do any of themits Dell making sure they cant be taken to court if someone finds one in their battery

If that's the case then those systems equiped with a battery that don't contain the subwoofer disclaimer should surely come with one. If they don't, then I'm sure someone could complain!0 -
Are there still any good offers on at the moment, for any notebooks. N05601 doesnt work anymore.
N06601 has 1024MB Memory for slightly over £5000 -
if you want to know how to get a 4% rebate from dell, pm me.
I'm not allowed to post the information on this board (please read), and complain if necessary.
Which is crazy if you ask me as you could be over £16 out of pocket because this information isn't readily available to you, a consequence of these rules.
MSE please note the number of pms I've recieved about these extra rebate is into double figures now and all of these people have found the information useful.
I understand the above provokes controversy so I will limit these comments to this reply and will not discuss the issue on this thread.0
