With the first past the post system for a lot of people there vote really does not count at all. It is a very undemocratic democracy where someone in say 100 of the more marginal seats has a vote that counts.0

Don't agree if you live in a really safe seat and you don't support winning party your vote is pretty much meaning less. I can honestly say that I feel my vote has never made a difference and I don't see how voting for someone whose policies you are not happy with is a good use of my vote, it is posible to use your right not to vote in a democracy, perhaps there should be another box on paper.
Do something more than just vote if you want to change things...
Or perhaps it doesn't matter that much to you?I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!
I do however reserve the right to be correct by accident.0 -

Better late than never I suppose.
Wonder if she will be so supportive of him now.0 -

Just read it is only temporary due to her" ill health".
Yet more politicians who think we are stupid!0 -
He should have replaced Abbott months ago. Or she should have resigned.
Abbott to Conservatives has been like "Hilaries emails" to trump supporters, the only retort to any argument. Too little too late I feel. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I don't think spoiling your paper says anything and it is not consider I don't want to vote for any of them. This is the problem to vote for someone you do not want to vote for is worse than not voting in my opinion.
As a women and knowing that women suffered and died to get me my vote I will always vote even though I know it makes no difference
to what party my MP will be.0 -

Spoiling your paper sends a message you didn't want to vote for any of the candidates rather than just not being bothered to turn up.
I'm going to be interested to see how many ballot papers will be spoilt. I have an idea it might be higher than usual. I'm not completely decided yet but I think I might spoil my paper for the firs time ever.0
